Yew Chung was founded in 1932 with a vision to reshape the society and rebuild the nation through harnessing the power and potential of education. Madam Tsang Chor Hang, Founder of Yew Chung strongly believed in the importance of whole person education and that education is not simply about academic performance but also on the development of one’s character. As such, Yew Chung (YC) and Yew Wah (YW) Schools are committed to raising globally competent and compassionate leaders who aspire to, and act for, a better world. In the past years, YCYW network of schools has nurtured thousands of dedicated professions around the globe. Many have become outstanding members of society, and have made significant contributions to the community. Launched in 2020, YCYW Alumni Hall of Fame is set to honour outstanding alumni who have shown distinguished achievements in their lives and careers, while manifesting the embedded YCYW values as an ethical, caring and loving global citizen.
